St Louis Blues defender Torey Krug suffered an injury to his right foot during training, forcing him to miss the start of training camp.
Krug is scheduled to be reevaluated on October 1st.
The 32-year-old is entering his fourth season with the Blues. Krug has scored 444 points in 701 career NHL regular season games with the Blues and Boston Bruins.
Krug has four years left on his contract and a cap hit of $6.5 million.
