Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola paid tribute to the late Terry Venables, who has died aged 80. The two briefly overlapped during Venables’ tenure as Barcelona manager from 1984 to 1987, while Guardiola was part of the club’s famous La Masia academy. Guardiola called Venables “a decent, decent man” and said his death was “a great loss for English football.”
