Liverpool fans expressed their disbelief at Jurgen Klopp’s shocking decision to step down as manager.
The German coach made the announcement on Friday, January 26, announcing that he will be leaving at the end of the season.
“I just can’t believe it,” one Liverpool fan responded to the news.
“Please don’t go, please stay,” she added.
Other supporters shared a similar shock, but turned their attention to the question of who should replace Klopp.
“I guess I’ll get (Xabi) Alonso,” one fan suggested, while another added that the former midfielder was already an “icon”.
