Winnipeg Jets star Mark Scheifele is dealing with a lower-body injury on a daily basis, coach Rick Bowness told reporters Friday.
Bowness has not ruled out Scheifele for Saturday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers.
The daily listing is good news for the Jets, who lost Scheifele early in the second half of their win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday.
The 30-year-old Scheifele leads the team with 41 points (14 goals, 27 assists) in 41 games this season.
Meanwhile, Nikolaj Ehlers left practice on Friday with an upper-body injury, but Bowness said the forward is expected to play on Saturday.
