Wild signs Bogosian to a contract extension of two years and 2.5 million


The Minnesota Wild I hired a defense attorney Zach Bogosian to a two-year contract extension with an average annual value of $1.25 million, the team announced Wednesday.

The 33-year-old Bogosian is currently in his first season with the Wild. In 46 games this season, Bogosian has one goal and eight assists.

In 830 career NHL games, he scored 58 goals and 164 assists for a total of 222 points.

Bogosian was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in 2008 and began his NHL career there. He also previously played for the Winnipeg Jets, Buffalo Sabres, Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Wild acquired the 16-season NHL veteran from the Lightning in exchange for a 2025 seventh-round pick.
